How much is shipping?

Shipping rates are based on your location.

  • Orders under $10.00 are sent in a rigid mailer for $10.00 anywhere in Canada
  • Ontario, Manitoba, Quebec – $20.00
  • New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, PEI, Saskatchewan – $22.00
  • Alberta, British Columbia, Newfoundland – $25.00
  • Northwest Territories, Nunavut, Yukon – $50.00

For subscription customers, you have a choice of shipping:

We offer free shipping on orders over $100.

Shipping Rules:

We do not combine orders, we will not hold multiple months worth of comics to save shipping charges.

How Do We Come Up With Shipping Charges?

How do we come up with these charges? We don't make money on shipping, we charge what it costs us for the actual postage, and the shipping supplies we use to ship your order.

  • Every comic is bagged and boarded (about .12 per book).
  • We bundle the comics and bag them into bags to keep them tight (about .02 per bag).
  • We package the bundles in bubble wrap (about .10 per order).
  • We put the bubble wrapped bundles in specially constructed boxes (about $1.50 per box)
  • Then we deliver it to Canada Post, who weighs and ships your order.
  • The average cost for just shipping supplies is about $3-$5 per order.
  • When you look at your order, you'll see the actual amount we paid for shipping.

Your comics get treated like they are our comics

We’re huge comic fans, and we understand that condition is important to you. We go out of our way to make sure that we only send you the best condition comics.

Every comic is individually bagged and boarded. We then bundle up comics in special plastic bags, we wrap these bundles in bubble wrap, and finally, we put all of that in custom designed boxes that we have specially made.

In more than 15 years of business, we have seen some crazy things that our crazy obsessive packaging has avoided damage from.

What kinds of crazy things? How about the time that comics were delivered to one customer’s porch during a driving snow storm? The comics were absolutely mint when he brought them in. How about the poor guy who’s comics were on the bottom of a palette of oil that got punctured? He sent it back to us, we opened it prepared for the worst…but everything was absolutely mint!

What printing are your comics?

Unless otherwise noted, all comics are first printings.  Trade Paperbacks are whatever the current printing is at the time that we got them in stock.

Where are comics stored before they come to us?

Our warehouse is climate controlled, and kept at a healthy 40-50% humidity.  These are the same conditions that we keep our own personal collections in.

We understand that many people don't like paying for shipping, we don't particularly like paying for shipping either.

However, when you consider that having your comics delivered to you saves you travelling costs, and frees up your valuable time, it works out to about the same amount of money.
