As the weather heats up, the comics get hotter Batman celebrates his 1000th issue in his own title with Detective Comics 1027, there’s more Death Metal, returns from Bill and Ted, Firefly and Stranger things, PLUS the all new X-Men event – X of Swords, and so much more in the new previews for comics shipping in September 2020 and beyond!
A lot of things have changed in the world of comics since the Global COVID-19 pandemic shut down several industries, including the comics industry back in late March, but many things are still largely the same. Effective this Wednesday (May 20th) new comics will be on sale from Diamond Comics Distribution, although there will be drastically reduced output as all publishers ramp back up.
Diamond Comic Distributors has made a formal announcement about future distribution plans in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. Effective April 1st, Diamond will no longer be shipping new product to us for the foreseeable future. We don’t know when things will get back to relative normal, or what this will actually mean in the long run.
UPDATE: In response to advice from Health Canada, Toronto Comicon 2020 (March 20-22 2020) has been cancelled.

Our comic previews this month feature more than 150 new comics, trades and graphic novels. Our final order cut-off for February titles is Sunday February 23rd. Get your orders in before then to make sure that you are guaranteed a copy of anything you want.
